Quieter beach southwest of Scheveningen harbor, backed by dunes; a handful of pavilions. Stay well clear of the harbor entrance — shipping and strong currents around the zuiderhavenhoofd. Dogs: allowed on the whole beach off-season (1 Oct–15 May); not during the day from 15 May to 1 Oct. Note: between the Zwarte Pad and the harbor dogs are banned year-round. Monitored 1 May – 1 Oct.
